Feeding the Nation

For decades, KCNSA has shown up with warm meals and warmer hearts—because everyone deserves dignity at the table.

Roy Pennant Meals on Wheels brings nourishment to the elderly, shut-ins and those who cannot easily access food. Volunteers plan menus, pack containers, and navigate Kingston’s backstreets to reach the people who need it most. A simple lunch becomes a lifeline—and a conversation at the gate becomes community.

At the Marie Atkins Night Shelter, members cook and serve with joy. It’s more than a meal; it’s consistency, care and a reminder that our neighbours are never forgotten. Week after week, month after month, KCNSA keeps the pots bubbling—because hunger doesn’t take a holiday.
