The Kiwanis Club of North St. Andrew has had a distinguish history characterized by service to the youth, the elderly, the less privileged in Northern St. Andrew region of Jamaica.

Kiwanians share and care

The club celebrates its 34th Anniversary during this administrative year and in its 34-year history, the club has touched the lives of many persons through its Sunday Schools, adoption of Children's Homes, its Meals on Wheels programme, its 32 Sponsorerd Leadership Programmes and numerous commmunity oriented services porjects.

Key Clubbers from the Queen's School

In addition, the club, in fulfillment of the Kiwanis Motto 'WE BUILD', has helped in the building of better lives for many persons and has added to the physical infrastructure of the social servicess in the island through such projects as the Shortwood Practicing School Canteen, a 30-bed Isolation Ward at the Bustamante Hospital for Children, a number of Health Clinics and Classrooms, the Youth Conselling Cente and Resource Centre at Mico Teacher's College, the Nursary and day Care Facilities at the Women's Centre, Kingston, an Eye Clinic and most recently, a Basic School. This years major project will be a Basic School at the Women's Centre in St. Thomas.
